Reader Feedback and No-Work English Question

by Chief Spanish Learner on September 29, 2010

I’m delighted to say that people are continuing to send me feedback through the contact form. Two people have contacted me about broken links on this website, something that I definitely appreciate being notified about and try to fix as quickly as possible.

And then today I received a question about whether I offer No-Work English audiobooks and the answer is, not yet. I definitely want to offer these stories in the reverse format with the Spanish said first and English said second for ESL (English-as-a-Second-Language) students, but I do not yet have that product available. I have visions of the day where every school that has an ESL program might have these audiobooks available for Spanish speaking children to take home. I’ve been told that often the stay-at-home moms in Spanish-speaking families have the toughest time learning English and so if these stories were available for children to take home from the school library, the learning could be doubled.

The reader question further motivates me to continue pushing to make this a reality. Thanks, Scott, for sending those comments in and thanks to everyone out there who has jumped on the No-Work Spanish bandwagon.

Anne
